So if you’re looking forward to this year’s Love Island series, find out everything you need to know about where and when to watch below.

Love Island started on June 6, at 9pm and finishes at 10.35pm. Every other episode this week will begin at 9pm and end at 10pm or 10.05pm.

On Sunday, Love Island will be followed by Love Island: Aftersun, which starts at 10pm and will finish at 11.05pm.

Love Island is on every day of the week. However, Saturday’s show is usually Love Island: Unseen bits, which is a compilation of footage that didn’t make it into the week’s episodes.

Love Island: Aftersun airs every Sunday, after the main episode.

Love Island is on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on Britbox.

We don’t have an exact date for the final yet, but previous seasons have lasted for between six and eight weeks.

This year’s season of Love Island could end at some point between mid-July and early August.

Eleven contestants will enter the villa on day one this year. They are Gemma Owen, 19, Luca Bish, 23, Amber Beckford, 24, Andrew Le Page, 27, Ikenna Ekwonna, 23, Davide Sanlimenti, 27, Tasha Ghouri, 23, Paige Thorne, 24, Dami Hope, 26, Indiyah Polack, 23, and Liam Llewellyn, 22.

Love Island UK came to an end last week when Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu were crowned the winners of the 2022 series after eight weeks in the Majorca villa. As the popular dating series finishes for another year, many fans may already be wondering when they can get their next fix of the dating series.

The UK reality show won't be returning until early next year with a Winter series, but in the meantime the USA version of the hit dating series is set to start on ITVBe next week. A brand new bunch of singletons will be heading into the villa in the fourth season of Love Island USA.

Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland is presenting the show this year, replacing former host and actress Arielle Vandenberg. There's also some good news for Love Island UK viewers as comedian Iain Stirling will be providing the voiceover for Love Island USA too.

So if you've been stuck for something to watch since Love Island UK finished, here are all the details on how and where to watch the USA series:

Where can I watch Love Island USA in the UK?

The fourth series of Love Island USA got underway in America on Peacock TV on July 19 but will be airing on ITVBe from Monday, August 8, at the slightly later time of 10pm. Love Island is a true fixture on our screens, with a steadily depleting number of singletons searching for love (and often finding drama at the same time).

The popular dating reality show returned for an eighth series on Monday 6 June and continues airing Sunday to Friday.

How to watch Love Island

Episodes air at 9pm every night except for Saturdays, when the Unseen Bits special featuring a roundup of exclusive unaired content from earlier in the week is shown.

The season finale will air at 9pm on Monday 1 August.

The episodes can be viewed on ITV2 and the ITV Hub live and will later be made available on catch up. The ITV app can be downloaded on a number of gaming consoles, including Xbox, and on smart TVs. However, it currently cannot be downloaded on Playstation.

Episodes are also available the following morning on BritBox.

In the hit show, cast members attempt to find love in a villa, as new arrivals threaten to disrupt growing relationships.

Last year, Millie Court and Liam Reardon were announced as the winners and shared the prize fund of £50,000.

The couple recently announced that they have split after a year of dating.

In May, Love Island announced that this year’s contestants will be wearing second-hand clothes from eBay.

This marks the first time the show, which is famed for partnering with fast fashion brands like I Saw It First and Missguided, has partnered with a pre-loved clothing company.

The bookies have been placing bets on who will win the series, while you can find The Independent’s own predictions here.

The latest series of Love Island is coming to an end, with critics hailing the 2022 summer edition as a welcome return to form.

We’ve seen new catchphrases (“liyaaaaar”), some genuinely extraordinary moments of dialogue (“I licked her tit… or whatever”) and, of course, the traditional frenzy of infidelity and never-ending fallout of Casa Amor.

On Monday night, Laura Whitmore will finally enter the villa and reveal which couple has triumphed – here’s everything you need to know about the final.

What time is the Love Island 2022 final?

The final of the 2022 series of Love Island starts at 9pm on Monday 1 August on ITV2, with the special extended live episode lasting until 10.35pm.

You can watch live or on catch up online via the ITV Hub, which you can access on your phone, tablet, computer, Xbox and PlayStation consoles.

It means that the latest series will span 49 episodes – just like the previous three summer editions – along with eight episodes of Love Island: Aftersun on Saturday evenings.

Who will the Love Island finalists be?

There are just four couples remaining for Monday night’s grand finale:

  • Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu
  • Gemma Owen and Luca Bish
  • Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope
  • Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page

The unlucky contestants who just missed out on a shot at the big prize were Paige Thorne and returning bombshell Adam Collard, with the couple facing the axe on Sunday night’s episode.

It came the evening after the remaining islanders received a visit from their loved ones in the much-anticipated “meet the parents” episode.

After her departure was announced, Thorne said she “definitely made lifelong friends” during the process, and that she was “so grateful” for her time in the villa, which was “mostly highs”.

When asked if she was disappointed to miss the final, she said: “Absolutely not, I went in there wanting to find friendships and a great connection and I came out with both.”

Collard, who came back to the villa after a controversial stint in 2018, described his return as “nerve wracking,” but said he was “buzzing to go in”.

He added: “As soon as it got a couple of hours in the boys were class and really welcoming and it was just exciting.”

Who are the past winners of Love Island?

Here are all the winners of Love Island since it relaunched in 2015:

  • Series one winners: Jess Hayes and Max Morley
  • Series two winners: Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey
  • Series three winners: Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay
  • Series four winners: Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham
  • Series five winners: Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea
  • Series six winners: Paige Turley and Finn Tapp
  • Series seven winners: Millie Court and Liam Reardon

How does Love Island prize money work?

The Love Island prize money stands at £50,000, but once Whitmore has revealed the winners they will be asked to pick an envelope each.

One of these contains £0, while the other holds the full £50,000.

Whoever has the envelope with the prize money in it is then asked whether they want to split it with their partner and receive £25,000 each, or if they want to keep the £50,000, thus revealing once and for all beyond any shadow of a doubt if they were in the show for love or money.

After convincing the public of their affections to the extent of winning the viewer’s vote, it would take someone very brave (or perhaps stupid?) to take the brutal step of pocketing the money themselves, and probably ruin their prospects of lucrative endorsements in the future.

Thus far, this has never happened – although some of the romances didn’t last particularly long after the series ended.
