Driving to Canada In most cases, vehicles may be driven across the Canadian border， cross-border fee may apply, please check with the counter. It is recommended to have PERS coverage when using vehicles in cross-border rentals for the US and Canada. Certain cities have an agent message of CHECK 4 DRIVING TO CANADA that displays as a reminder to ask if the customer plans on driving into Canada, check the city directory for any restrictions. The renter must have a valid driver\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s license and rental record to cross the border into Canada. Canadian law does require that everyone entering the country have a passport, so everyone in the vehicle must have the proper identification.
