Overall Opinion:Roc Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream proves that you don’t necessarily need to spend tons of money to get really good results from a wrinkle cream. Although there are better retinol creams out there, you really can’t find one as good as this for the price. For one-half to one-third the price of most retinol creams, ROC works really well and is easy to use and apply. It does have a bit of fragrance to it, but it’s nothing major and actually smells pretty good. As for downsides, it dries kind of sticky once you’ve applied it and it doesn’t have a lot of skin-soothing ingredients to help with irritation. Overall though, this is a very good retinol cream for a very good price! Detailed Opinion:Texture/Feel Roc Retinol Correxion comes out of the tube as a white-colored cream. It’s pretty light in texture and feels slick. Application Application of this retinol cream is very straightforward. It goes on easily and spreads quickly. As for usage, the box says every night but we would start at every 3rd night if you’ve never used a retinol cream before. Drying Time Roc Retinol Correxion dries in just a few minutes. Once it’s dry, it does feel pretty sticky compared to many other retinol creams we’ve tried. It’s not terrible, but you’ll definitely notice the stickiness. Smell This product does have some fragrance added to it. It smells fresh and probably won’t bother most people. However, if you’re one of those people who are sensitive to smell, this one may not be the best choice. Short Term Results In the short term, we didn’t notice much in the way of results with Roc Retinol Correxion. Longer Term Results Longer term the results we got with this product were good. It took a little longer to see them, but as time went on, our face looked better and better. We saw softer skin with diminished fine lines and wrinkles :) Ingredients Analysis Roc Retinol Correxion’s main ingredient is retinol. Pretty much everything else in it is very standard in what you’d find in many lotions- retinol or not. That’s not a bad thing, as many people are well-served by basic formulations. But the lack of additional, skin-beneficial ingredients is one of the reasons we didn’t rank this one higher. We do like that they included shea butter to help with moisturization though! Can you wear RoC night cream during the day?You could, theoretically, use a night cream during the day. However, if you're planning on leaving the house, it' essential that you use a moisturizer with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 15.
