Love this metal box spring! It supports my son’s memory foam mattress better than the traditional wood type. It is very easy to put together, it took me only 5 minutes after reviewing the “dummy proof” instructions to complete . Icing on the cake is the removable, washable cover. This is solid wood, not particle board and solid wood is what you want for a bed foundation. It is packed really well and the design is great. The sides are sanded to a curve so that it is a smooth foundation for your mattress. It is easy to assemble with bolts and screws - very solid. It even comes with a cover that you put over the entire box spring once it is assembled. This is a well designed and well made product. Note in my 1st photo you see that an 8 inch mattress would work fine with this bed and this box spring, although I plan to add a bed-in-box 10 inch memory foam mattress. . Ralph. This foundation was so simple! The metal bars are labeled at the ends with the numbers you need to attach together. It came with a small mallet to help knock the metal slats in. All I can say is WOW!This Zinus Foundation is Awsome! Whom ever came up with this design deserves a medal!It was so easy to put together, and I’m 61 years old and did it by myself !! It took about 15 minutes.I Love it, it’s great and I definitely recommend it.Women need things like this and you don’t need help.Sure beats the900 dollar one I bought last time !!
