The Deebot D35 will not show any signs of charging or powering on. If the device does not show signs of power, check the bottom of the Deebot. Locate the power switch and set to the the ON position. If the power switch is already in the ON position change the switch to the OFF position and manually dock it to the charging station. After three hours attempt to turn on again. The battery is completely discharged. Reactivate the battery. Place Deebot on the charging dock by hand, remove after charging for 3 minutes, repeat 3 times, then charge normally. Deebot has not made a connection with the charging dock. Be sure that Deebot has made a connection with the charging dock pins. Move the robot manually to make the connection if necessary. The battery is maintaining a full charge for as long as specified: Battery has not been used in a long time and lost some of it’s capability to hold power. Place the robot on charging dock by hand, remove after charging for 3 minutes; repeat 3 times. Charge normally for 3-5 hours. If device still does not charge the battery may need to be replaced. The battery is faulty and is unable to hold charge or be charged. Push tabs on both sides of the battery pack to remove. Insert new battery pack and press until it's fully locked into place. For example, electrical cords, drooping curtains, area rug fringe, etc. The Deebot D35 has encountered an obstacle and stopped the device from functioning correctly. Turn the device off. Gently lift the Deebot D35 and remove any obstacles such as power cords, area rugs or curtains in the path of the device to correctly function. If the device still has issues, remove dust bin and filter and remove debris. One can also clean out the Deebot's vacuum motor. The guide to removing the vacuum motor can be found here: Deebot D35 Vacuum Motor Replacement Guide If the battery is low, then the Deebot will automatically switch to Return to Charger Mode, and will return to the charging dock to recharge which is normal and no solution is required. The amount of time it takes the Deebot to clean depends on what surface it is working on and/or how complex the room is. If the room is too complex, it may return to the charging station to recharge before completing the cleaning. The device is having trouble completing its automatically scheduled task on time or completely. Reset Deebot by pressing and holding the start/pause button for 3 seconds. Set the current time. Once the scheduling has set successfully, the device will beep 3 times and indicator light will turn blow. If the scheduling is cancelled, the device will beep 3 times and the indicator light will turn green. If necessary, one can remove and replace the Deebot's motherboard. If the device still does not function replace the device manually on the charging station. Keep the device powered on and connected to the charging dock (this will make sure it will have a full battery to work for the next usage). Turn the device power off. Clean the dust bin. Clean the Universal Wheel by removing any obstructions/hair tangled around the area. Use a dry cloth to wipe down the Anti-Drop sensors located in the front of the backside of the device. Use a dry cloth to wipe down the charging contacts both on the device and charging dock pins. They are located on the top left and right of the device in between the Universal wheel and and the side brushes. Be sure to wipe the sensor on the charging dock pin as well. Turn the device power off. Clean the suction intake and brushes gently with a dry paper towel. Gently open the top of the device and remove the dustbin. Empty the dustbin of all debris. Gently remove the attached air filter. Take the air filter and gently pat it removing dust and build up. Set the air filter aside and take the dustbin and wipe it down with a moist towel. Let the dustbin dry completely. Replace the filter in the dustbin and then slide the dustbin back into the devices housing. Deebot N79 is a good robotic vacuum for the price. When used in the right way, it has a sufficient battery charge to clean a large room without pause. Like most robotic vacuums, the Deebot N79 will get stuck on some things, like not charging, spinning in circles, Wi-Fi won’t connect, bumper exception, etc. Deebot N79 Troubleshooting and maintaining is fairly simple. You probably do not know how to reset Deebot n79 and you should be aware of your Deebot N79 malfunctioning. I will describe the above issues, hope you will be benefited. DEEBOT N79 not chargingPossible Cause: On the bottom side of DEEBOT N79 has a Side-Power Switch, that is not turned ON. Solution: Turn the robot’s Side Power Switch to the ON position. You have to know “l” indicates ON and “O” indicates OFF. DEEBOT is powered goes ON when Power Indicator light glows a continuous BLUE. Possible Cause: Maybe, DEEBOT N79 did not connect to the charging dock. You probably do not know, Check the facts. Place the Charging Dock on a level floor surface against the wall with the base vertical to the ground. Keep the immediate area 2m in front of the charger and 1 m on both sides of the charger clear of objects and reflective surfaces. Solution: Confirm that DEEBOT N79 has made a connection with the Charging Dock Pins. If necessary, you can remove the robot yourself to connect. Possible Cause: Maybe Charging Dock is unplugged while the robot’s Bottom Power Switch is ON, which causes battery drain. Solution: Ensure the robot’s side Bottom Power Switch is turned ON when Plugged in the Charging Dock. Your DEEBOT N79 Keep on the Charging Dock to make sure it has a full battery charge to work at any time as needed. Possible Cause: The battery is fully discharged. Solution: Replace and re-activate the battery. Manually by hand Place your DEEBOT N79 on the Charging Dock, disconnect after 3 minutes charging, repeat this process 3 times; then charge normally. Deebot N79 bumper exceptionSometimes, the front bumper of your DEEBOT may get stuck in, which mostly happens in the Roomba vacuum. This occurs when the sensors of the bumper are grimy which known as Roomba Error 9. When that happens, your robot will only go abaft as it thinks the obstacle is closing in on it! Just mildly take out of the front bumper a quarter-inch – and voila, your DEEBOT should be back to usual. The amount of time Deboot N79 will save is ridiculous. We literally have to vacuum every day to keep the house feeling and looking clean and fresh with Ecovacs Deebot N79S, Because, we have a dog and a cat, and kids. Just Schedule it and forget about cleaning. Maybe once in two months, we use the normal vacuum cleaning to touch things up. I can save thousands of hours of work over a year. When you start using it the first time you will need to Deebot N79 Troubleshooting and empty the dustbin after each time cleaning.
