Who are Luffys closest friends?

If this thread was made before, I'm sorry. Kinda new to OP and the OP section of the forums. =P My personal opinions:

Luffy

Zoro

Sanji

Nami

Ussop

Robin

Chopper

Franky

Brook

What do you think?

Nami is closest to money. Luffy loves meat more than anything.

I think Chopper is closer to Robin than Zoro, but that's just me.

I was genuinely thinking of making this thread. I like the idea of it. Anyway, onto the list: Luffy - Usopp, always having fun together. Zoro - Luffy, if he wasn't there, Zoro'd leave the crew.

Nami - Robin, Girl power.

Sanji - Nami and Robin

Franky - Sunny

Luffy-Usopp, and Chopper (They always party together and bullshit around) Zoro-No on really... Sanji-Nami and Robin Franky-Brook, Usopp, and Chopper Robin-Nami Brook-Zoro Chopper-Zoro Nami-Robin

Luffy: I guess he feels just as close to everyone of them. But Usopp is probably the one he hangs out with the most. Zoro: Luffy and Sanji (Sanji not necessarily in a good way). Nami: Luffy and Robin. Usopp: Luffy and Chopper. Sanji: Nami and Zoro (again not always in a good way). He also used to have some good interactions with Usopp, but we haven't really seen that for some time. Chopper: Zoro and Luffy/Usopp. Robin: Really hard to say because she don't have anyone she constantly talks to on her own like the others. A mixture between Luffy, Nami and Franky, I'd say. Franky: Hasn't been in the crew long enough to say. Maybe Robin and Usopp.

Brook: Hasn't been in the crew long enough to say either. Probably Luffy. I don't know why you suppose he is closest with Zoro. The two of them haven't had any major interactions since Thriller Bark.

Robin and namo keeps trying to be close to zoro but master zoro don't like dem hoes

I feel like they all are close and would die for each other but relative to who Oda makes each character hang around it goes like this for me Luffy: Chopper / Usopp Zoro: Sanji, it's a hate relationship but besides that Zoro is a loner. Sanji: Name & Robin -swaaaaaan Usopp: Luffy / Chopper / Franky Chopper: Robin/Luffy/Usopp Franky: He generally hangs with everyone and always impresses Luffy/Chopper and Usopp with his robot capabilities Brook: Relatively new but an addition to the goofy guys (franky, luffy, usopp and chopper) Robin: Nami and Chopper Nami: Robin

Not Sure about the rest yet, but i know Luffy is closest to all of them, Zoro to Luffy because he would abandon his dream for him, Sanji to robin & Nami for obvious reasons, Chopper to usopp because he believes EVERYTHING he says, and Brook to luffy since they are both buds of laboon.

You put Zoro as Chopper's best friend? And not Usopp? Really?

For me, Luffy + Zoro, Usopp + Chopper, Nami + Robin,, Sanji + two girls, Robin/Brooke + Luffy, Franky + no one in particular.

Usopp + Sanji have a decent relationship as well. Like in Water 7 or in Arabasta after he get his ass kicked... Plenty of other times you see this 2 together as well

Zoro and Chopper have a nice big brother/little brother relationship going.

Anyone who thinks that any of the SHs does not have Luffy in their top 3 can't seriously read this manga...

Edit: With the possible excepion of Sanji.

Tho personaly I'd say he's closer to Luffy than he's to Zoro. Beeing a rival doesn't nessesary means that they're extremely close.

Well each SH is the closesed to Luffy and the seperation arcs showed. Each SH trained their ass of for Luffy and mentioned that. Luffy is the main reason why they joined after all

Luffy - I think that Luffy is close to each of his crew in his own way and would never put one above any other. With that said, he seems to be best bros with Usopp and along with Chopper they're always running around doing goofy shit together. Makes sense, considering that they're the three youngest, even if Luffy is captain.

Zoro - He's in the crew because of Luffy, full stop. Pure respect for him and I think it goes both ways. Other than that, his rivalry with Sanji qualifies. Chopper seems to look up to him, or maybe he just likes clinging to his head; I dunno. Also, notice that he's the only one that always seems to be in debt to Nami?

Nami - Robin. It's a girl thing. Also Usopp and Chopper, by nature of being the w3. I don't think she's particularly close to Sanji; the -kun thing seems more manipulative than endearing.

Usopp - Luffy, best bros for life. Chopper, ditto. w3 with Nami; I liked their interaction during the Return to Sabaody arc. Has some cool tinker/engineering moments with Franky. Also, as some people have noted, he used to be surprisingly close to Sanji. They used to be somewhat goofy together and Sanji is quick to rise to Usopp's defence, like in Alabasta and also during Water 7/Enies Lobby. Sanji was the one that stopped Luffy from doing the unthinkable, before their argument became actual mutiny. The Going Merry as well, of course; she's what led to said mutiny and he was the only one to see her klabautermann. Honestly, Usopp seems to have some of the deepest personal bonds with the other crewmembers.

Sanji - To everyone saying Nami and Robin, that's purely wishful thinking. Sanji isn't actually very close to either one of them, outside of his goofy mellorine fantasies. He does, however, as stated above seem to look out for Usopp quite a bit. As I see it he's closest to Zoro, but not in a yaoi way. Their rivalry turns them into back to back bash bros more often than not.

Chopper - Usopp and Luffy for goofy trio goodness. Definitely looks up to them both, and also seems to look up to Zoro as well. It's a different kind of hero worship with Zoro than what he has for Usopp. Clings to his head a lot, which is hilarious.

Robin - Doesn't seem to be close to anyone, at least pre-skip. She's warming up a bit more now post skip. Hard to say who she's closest to, other than Nami simply because of the whole two girls in a sausage party thing.

Franky - Usopp when they go into Bob the Builder mode. I liked his interaction with Robin during Return to Sabaody as well, but I think that Franky would have reacted enthusiastically to anyone because he's Franky. Other than that, the Sunny is an obvious, obvious answer.

Brook - Luffy and Zoro, agreed. His instant friendship with Luffy was great, and he seems to have some great respect for Zoro as a fellow swordsman. Also, although it's nothing like what Franky has, I think it's totes adorable that he calls the Thousand Sunny "Lion-chan".

Luffy: Zoro and Usopp, maybe Chopper too. Zoro: Luffy and Sanji. Sanji: Zoro and both Nami/Robin. Usopp: Luffy and Chopper Franky: Robin and Luffy??? Maybe Brook too??? He seems close with these three the most to me. Robin: Luffy and Nami. Brook: Luffy and Franky me thinks. Chopper: Luffy and Usopp maybe Zoro.
