hello everybody welcome to leader learning my name is rajna chaudhary and we are going to solve this question question is find the remainder when this number is divided by 3 and we have to find the remainder without performing the actual division so we know a number is divided by 3 when the remainder is obtained by dividing the sum of the digits by 3 so here sum of the digits is 5 plus 1 plus 4 plus 3 plus 9 plus 7 plus 8 plus 6 that is 43 now we have to check whether 43 divided by 3 or not or what is the remainder so when we divided 43 by 3 we have 1 as the remainder when we will divide it if you we can try it over here so three ones are three remainder is one copy down three three twos are three fours are twelve so we can see that we have a remainder one so when if it is leaving remainder one here that clearly means that uh in actual number remainder is also going to be one so we can write here that remainder is 1 when this number is divided by three so i hope you understand the method see you in my next video don't forget to like share and subscribe the channel thank you for watching
