It’s a treat to watch a one-hour-long first episode in Eng dub this Sunday with Tengen Uzui making a flashy entrance.

The dub’s main cast has returned for season 2.

Character Cast Notable Works
Tanjiro Kamado Zach Aguilar Genos (One Punch Man)
Nezuko Kamado Abby Trott Riko Aida (Kuroko’s Basketball)
Zenitsu Agatsuma Aleks Le Mikey (Tokyo Revengers)
Inosuke Hashibara Bryce Papenbrook Eren Jaeger (Attack on Titan)
Tengen Uzui Ray Chase Masamune Gotou (March comes in like a lion)

Most fans have waited for the English dub to release to watch the season. Season 2 is divided into two: the Mugen Train arc and the Entertainment District arc.

The first part of season 2 (the Mugen Train arc) is already out with its English dub release a few weeks ago. Now, fans and viewers can enjoy the whole season 2 in its English dub version on Funimation and Crunchyroll.

Mixed emotions go through my mind as I recall the recently concluded Demon Slayer season 2. Yet, knowing how Nezuko saves Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Uzui at the end of the series warms up my heart and I’m totally ready to relive this moment again in the Eng Dub version.

About Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotoge. Its publication in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump began in February 2016 with 19 collected tankōbon volumes released as of present.

In a world filled with demons and demon slayers, Kimetsu no Yaiba follows the lives of two siblings Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado after— the murder of their family at the hands of a demon. Their hardship does not end there, as Nezuko’s life is spared only for her to live as a demon.

As the oldest sibling, Tanjiro vows to protect and cure his sister. The story traces the bond of this brother-sister or better yet, demon slayer and demon combo against the odds of an arch antagonist and the society.

Demon Slayer is almost back for its second season, but before the anime returns it will get a brief arc that recuts the Mugen Train movie into seven episodes. This arc will start on Oct. 10, while Demon Slayer season 2 will be released on Dec. 5.

Update (Oct. 7): Crunchyroll has released a new promo trailer for Demon Slayer’s Mugen Train arc and the official season 2 Entertainment District arc.

Demon Slayer’s return to the Mugen Train arc won’t be exactly what fans saw in theaters. Instead, the short prequel arc will try to seamlessly bridge the gap between the anime’s first and second seasons by expanding the movie into seven separate episodes with several new scenes. The arc will also include an entirely original episode that takes place before the events of the movie.

As for Demon Slayer’s actual second season, it will start off with a special hour-long episode when it premieres on Sunday, Dec. 5. The anime’s second season will follow the events of the manga’s Entertainment District arc, which will introduce the series’ latest major demon, Daki.

For now, Funimation has announced that the Mugen Train arc will be available to stream on the Funimation website along with Hulu and Crunchyroll. Season 2 will also be available to stream on Funimation and Crunchyroll.
