The Arkansas Basketball team is back in the NCAA Men’s March Madness tournament after a successful regular season that saw the team finish 25-8.
The Razorbacks seek to surpass last season’s finish of making it to the Elite Eight round of the tournament. The Hogs lost to eventual champion Baylor, but Head Coach Eric Musselman and the Razorbacks were one of team’s on the tips of everyone’s tongues last season.
Musselman and a new crew of Hogs will try to avoid a Round 1 upset when the No. 4 Arkansas Razorbacks face No. 13 Vermont Catamounts (28-5).
Arkansas is 17-8 all-time in first round games of the NCAA Tournament, according to the Arkansas Athletic Department.
A win against Vermont would also give the Hogs their most wins in a single season since 2016-17.

Arkansas is scheduled to tip-off at 8:20 p.m. CT on March 17.

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas basketball’s 2022-23 schedule is set. The last piece of the scheduling puzzle, the Razorbacks' non-conference game times and TV networks, were released Tuesday. Arkansas will play Alabama, Kentucky, LSU, Texas A&M and Missouri twice, both at Bud Walton Arena and on the road. The Razorbacks have had a home-and-home with Kentucky just one other time in their two decades in the SEC. Arkansas concludes the regular season with a home matchup against the Wildcats, which will air on CBS. Also coming to Bud Walton are Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss and
Mississippi State. The Razorbacks will go on the road to play at South Carolina and at Vanderbilt, as well as a tough pair of away games at Auburn and defending SEC champion Tennessee.
