Once postponed indefinitely, the Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 “Baroque Brown” is finally set to release on May 27th.
First teased on Air Max Day 2021, La Flame’s first take on the original visible Air-cushioned silhouette was initially scheduled to drop in Autumn of last year, but the tragedy that was Astroworld Festival 2021 suspended the future of the Houston-native’s relationship with NIKE, Inc. up in there air. Any new look at the “Baroque Brown/Lemon Drop”-covered pair, however, saw casual and savvy fans alike take to social media to express their excitement for Travis Scott’s Nikes, regardless of any bad press associated with the 31-year-old. Akin to other “Cactus Jack” collaborations, the upcoming sneakers don functional updates and backwards swooshes, all culminating in a desert and trail-inspired Air Max offering.
Enjoy product imagery of the pair ahead, and find Scott’s latest footwear collaboration hitting Nike SNKRS on Friday, May 27th, for $150 USD.

Travis Scott and Nike’s partnership is continuing with a collection of collaborative Nike Air Max 1s and we get a closer look at the Baroque Brown colorway.
Unlike the “Saturn Gold” colorway, this colorway of the Air Max 1 drops the tonal vibe but keeps the earthy tone. A Lemon Drop mesh makes up the upper with the mudguard and heeltab seen in Baroque Brown nubuck and tongue and overlays seen in nubuck Wheat. The reverse Swoosh is seen on the lateral side in Lemon Drop with the medial side facing the correct direction, and the Nike Pocket Knife-influenced straps are seen around the top eyestay and around the heel. Red rope lacing and tongue lining are utilized with the pennant on the heel featuring the Swoosh and Cactus Jack branding on each sneaker respectively. The midsole is seen in Lemon Drop as well with a Baroque Brown outsole featuring CACTUS CORPORATION branding.
