Changes from original:
- The graphics have more detail.
- You can access the Witches' Shop at any time after completing a chapter, like Jack's House, but only after beating chapter 2.
- To beat Chapter 15, you have to deplete the health of Lock, Shock, & Barrel all at once; they now have 3 separate health bars, instead of sharing one whole bar. If one or two of them is left knocked out too long, the remaining one[s] will revive them with about 30% to 50% of their health remaining. The dance works best for this.
- From Chapter 18 onwards, the enemy ambush music is replaced by 'Take Our Town Back' in the Graveyard, Spiral Hill, and the Hinterlands.
- Barrel has a minion battle just before the end of Chapter 10; a battle full of Tricks and Treats.
- After clearing the final chapter of the game, regardless of which grade you get, you unlock Free Roam mode, where you can explore the world to your heart's content. It begins where the final cutscene ended.
- In the Dance battles, the buttons appear a bit slower in Easy mode, and a bit faster on nightmare mode.
- For every time you load a saved game, be it saved from Mr Hyde or the end of a chapter, Jack, Sally, or the Narrator will recap the story of the game so far.
- There is an added extra secret chapter; Nightmare Birthday Cake. To access it, look behind the Halloween Holiday tree in chapter 21. you will see a shining something behind it. interact with it to start the secret chapter.
- The Pumpkin Shield present appears in all difficulties.
