Show 5.0 out of 5 stars I don't think I will ever return to a 'normal' phone. There is the uniqueness of the Samsung Galaxy Z fold phone, which is cool by itself. The great things about it is the speed, the durability, and the convenience of having a mini tablet available to do all the things. Social media is amazing to browse, Amazon is improved since you can see a larger image of the product on the full screen. I definitely recommend learning about all the features of this device. Getting this phone for half price really sweetens the deal. It isn't cheaply made. Getting it on the Metro PCS network was a breeze since I purchased the T-mobile locked phone.I recommend cases for any phone, of course, but this one especially. It came brand new in the original box. There is no wear or tear on this device and the operation is seemless. It opens and closes easily, but has that 'new phone' resistance that I have found I really like.Overall, I would recommend this phone to anyone interested.

Reviewed in the United States on October 30, 2022 Switching from a Microsoft Duo. For me, the Duo's split screen was more of a distraction than a benefit. I got tired of always having to open the Duo to do any task. The Fold 3 overcame both those issues, plus more. - The inside screen is much better for browsing and watching videos than the Duo. When you open the browser on the Fold, you get a nice big SINGLE screen. On the Duo, I could only use half the screen (hard to see letterbox movies on a half-screen), or if I used full screen, the hinge "chops out" some of the content. So distracting. - Fold works seamlessly with Galaxy Watch. With the Duo, when I used the Watch's Google Assistant, the Watch was intermittently unable to access my contacts (I.e. when I asked to text Joe, it would say "no contact number for Joe". Irritating. - Fold has wireless charging. Duo does not. - Fold has more memory than Duo. - Fold has more and better cameras than Duo. With the Duo, I only had one camera, requiring you to open Duo in "phone mode" (one screen facing down one facing up) to take a photo. - The Duo was good at multi-tasking. You could easily start two apps on each screen. However, I think with Fold's Android 12 upgrade, there's always a "start bar" open now, which makes it easy to open two simultaneous apps on Fold now. The one thing the Duo did better than the Fold was handling on-line meetings. You can prop the Duo open on the desk. The top screen would be the online meeting, and you can use the bottom screen to "do work" (read notes, open spreadsheets, etc). However, I hardly used that feature. The Fold 3 was great as a renewed Amazon device - works like new. Images in this review Reviewed in the United States on October 31, 2022 4 months later screen cracking at fold and shuts off when folding or opening. Don't buy a fold phone reconditioned! Reviewed in the United States on July 15, 2022 People are saying that this is huge? Guess everyone has their own opinion on the word huge. Big it is not especially when closed. When closed the screen is only three quarters the size of a normal phone and flip it open its twice that size which to me is not really that big. I have the LG v60 thinq dual screen and that even with the split not taken into account is still bigger than the z fold 3. And its
very heavy probably because of the metal or steal construction it uses. And it has that annoying Samsung Bixby crap. All in all it is usable but don't expect anything mind blowing because it is not. Its only mind blowing to the fact that most won't be used to a phone opening up into a tablet. Couldn't tell a new phone from a furbish one if you see it for yourself. Very happy with the product refurbish really reflects what is meant for looking like you Did T Mobile stop selling the Z fold 3?"T-Mobile will not carry the Galaxy Fold because we already offer customers a wide range of the latest smartphones," the operator said in a statement in July, in explaining its decision not to sell the Galaxy Fold in its retail stores or on its website.
Should you buy Galaxy Z Fold 3?It's still far too expensive, and it's impractical for the majority of phone buyers, even if it remains the neatest phone of 2021, one year on. There are significant upgrades in the Galaxy Z Fold 3 β the S Pen and water resistance stand out the most β but you should probably wait for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4.
How long will Samsung support the Z fold 3?Eligible Galaxy devices include with four years of One UI and five years of security updates[1]: Galaxy S Series: Galaxy S22, S22+, S22 Ultra as well as Galaxy S21, S21+, S21 Ultra, S21 FE and upcoming S series devices. Galaxy Z Series: Galaxy Z Fold3, Galaxy Z Flip3 and upcoming Z series devices.
Is Samsung Z fold worth buying?Bottom line. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is a stellar foldable phone that offers great multitasking capabilities, fantastic cameras and a large display. At $1,799, it's not going to be a phone for everyone. Instead, it's still priced for early adopters or those who can find a good use for everything the Z Fold 4 has to offer.
