SOAK This option provides a 15-180 minute presoak prior to the start of the selected cycle. Touch the Soak button to select the desired soak time from the popup menu. STAIN CARE ™ Use this option for heavily soiled loads that need improved stain treatment. When STAIN CARE is selected, the wash cycle will begin with warm water to help prevent the setting of certain types of stains. Then, as the cycle progresses, hot water will be added to gradually increase the water temperature to help remove stains that require treatment at higher temperatures. NOTE y Best results are obtained with small loads (less than 6 lbs.) COLD WASH ™ This option saves energy by using cooler water while increasing the wash and rinse times to maintain wash performance. Cold Wash is not available in Sanitary, Bright White, Tub Clean, and Rinse & Spin. NOTE y Cold Wash is not available with Stain Care. EXTRA RINSEThis option will add one or two extra rinses to the selected cycle. Touch the Extra Rinse button to select the desired number of additional rinses from the popup menu. Although the softener will still be dispensed without selecting FABRIC SOFTENER during a spray rinse, failure to select either option will result in poor fabric softener performance.
