Where have these acoustic renditions of Foreigner favorites been my whole life?? They’re spectacular!

The background music was different than original, not as good.

Most of the songs on this disc are available free from legit websites. I got most of these using FireFox's download helper. What I really purchased this disc for was the Exclusive 40 minutes acoustic concert live in Germany, previously unreleased. Unfortunately that second disc didn't come with this purchase. I'm returning this to Amazon, and I'll probably never open the product when it arrives. Stay tuned on ebay for when I sell my unopened copy. I really feel cheated.

The Cd arrived sooner than expected. It's good, and has some great tracks on it. Especially, I Want To Know What Love Is.

Foreigner Lyrics
"I Want To Know What Love Is"
I gotta take a little time
A little time to think things over
I better read between the lines
In case I need it when I'm older
Now this mountain I must climb
Feels like a world upon my shoulders
Through the clouds I see love shine
It keeps me warm as life grows colder
In my life there's
been heartache and pain
I don't know if I can face it again
Can't stop now, I've traveled so far
To change this lonely life
I wanna know what love is
I want you to show me
I wanna feel what love is
I know you can show me
I'm gonna take a little time
A little time to look around me
I've got nowhere left to hide
It looks like love has finally found me
In my life there's been heartache and pain
I don't know if I can face it again
I
can't stop now, I've traveled so far
To change this lonely life
I wanna know what love is
I want you to show me
I wanna feel what love is
I know you can show me
I wanna know what love is
I want you to show me
And I wanna feel, I want to feel what love is
And I know, I know you can show me
Let's talk about love
I wanna know what love is, the love that you feel inside
I want you to show me, and I'm feeling so much love
I wanna feel what
love is, no, you just cannot hide
I know you can show me, yeah
I wanna know what love is, let's talk about love
I want you to show me, I wanna feel it too
I wanna feel what love is, I want to feel it too
And I know and I know, I know you can show me
Show me love is real, yeah
I wanna know what love is...

The lead single off of the album, it was released in November 1984.
Mick Jones explained, "I always worked late at night, when everybody left and the phone stopped ringing. 'I Want To Know What Love Is' came up at three in the morning sometime in 1984. I don't know where it came from. I consider it a gift that was sent through me. I think there was something bigger than me behind it. I'd say it was probably written entirely by a higher force."
This track features keyboard work by Thompson Twins' frontman Tom Bailey.
The New Jersey Mass Choir featured on this track also appears in the song's music video.
The biggest hit of the band, this song reached the top in both the UK and the US. It charted even many years after its release e.g. in the top 25 on the US Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary Recurrents chart in 2000, 2001 and 2002.
Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" has this song on a position number 479.
