Jeep Wrangler tires help in many different ways – getting a grip with mud-terrain tires in the middle of slick, low-traction situations, going from pavement to trail and back with all-terrain tires, and so on. Carefully select tires designed specifically for your use-case. Get tires with a deep tread block for mud, sand and other loose driving conditions. Select a slicker and smoother tire for improved traction and efficiency on paved roads. We also sell tires designed for different weather conditions. Select winter tires for improved traction and cool weather pliability for reliable handling when it’s very cold out. Select summer tires or all-season tires for milder driving conditions.

Tires aren’t the only way to enhance the look and performance of your jeep though. Investing in quality wheels will up the style of your Jeep Wrangler and also its durability. High-grade aluminum or alloy wheels hold up to weather better than steel wheels do. High load wheels are built for hauling or handling more severe terrain. Choose wheels that match the look you’re interested in by selecting from different spoke patterns and color finishes and enjoy a more upscale Jeep Wrangler.

Investing in Jeep Wrangler tire covers is a good way to keep the rain and snow off your tire as you drive around throughout the year. Our tire covers are built to last and they’re offered in many different colors and finishes, giving you a nice custom style for whatever look you want. We even offer soft and hard tire covers depending on the level of protection that you want to achieve. Aside from wheels and tires, you can also enhance the performance of your ride with a good set of Jeep Wrangler lug nuts. They’re the only thing that’s hold your wheels in position, so make sure you have a high-grade set that you can rely on. We offer stainless steel and other high-end lug nuts that are built to last. Choose a style you enjoy and watch as your wheels get eve more attractive. Enhance the wheels, tires and accessories of your Jeep Wrangler and you’ll love the new look and performance that you can achieve!

Additional thoughts to consider are Jeep beadlock wheels and a Jeep spare tire carrier. Jeep beadlocks essentially screw into the lip of your tires, making it nigh impossible for the tire to leave the rim in aired down situations. Be careful though because beadlock wheels are illegal in some areas. An upgraded spare tire carrier becomes necessary as soon as you up size your Jeep Wrangler tires and rims. Taller tires means more weight, and you don’t want your stock carrier crumbling under the pressure.

While thinking about this OP and the fact that I have been looking to buy a Rubicon take-off set of wheels since late summer, here is what I have discovered. Shipping charges for 5 Rubicon 17 inch wheels with 285 70 17 tires from West Coast to East Coast. Seems to run upwards of $1000.00. We are looking at either 5 separate packages each weighing around 80 pounds. each I priced out wheels on a pallet from Oregon to Maine and it came out to $3100.??? Now FEDEX advertises that they will ship tires for around $50. However that still comes to at least $250 to ship all 5. So now when I see ads from some people claiming that they will ship all 5 for $100 I immediately think scam. Hopefully I am FOS about this because I dearly want to replace the wheels on my Sport sooner rather than later.

I just had this pop up on the Web when I plugged in Wheel shipping:

"ShipNex uses FedEx for Express Shipments & UPS for any Ground Shipments. When I compared prices to ship a set of wheels & tires (18 x 8.5 w/ 235/35/18 tyres ~210lbs) I was quoted $416 via UPS, $376 via USPS, $308 via FedEx, and $206 via ShipNex to ship from the West Coast to the East Coast. " That's an approximately 22 pound tire. Add a rim and you are still quite away from a 286 70 17 Rubican tire @ 50 pounds each.

We purchased a new Jeep Gladiator for our custom build and removed the factory wheels and tires that the Jeep was equipped with. The wheels and tires are in new condition and were removed from the Jeep within the first 48 hours of ownership!

The listing is for a set of wheels and tires (tmps not included). Pictures are of the actual set. Size 255/75/17
