N.B., The input method settings can be accessed whilst you are on any text entry screen. In this example we will show you how to access the settings from a new SMS. | |
To enable predictive text: | |
1. | From the home screen press the Menu button. |
2. | Move the cursor to Message and press the OK button. |
3. | Keep the cursor on Create message and press the middle button. |
4. | Keep the cursor on New SMS and press the OK button. |
5. | Move the cursor to the text entry field and press the star button. |
6. | Move the cursor to En and press the OK button. |

Access keyboard settings
1. From the home screen, press the OK button to access the Apps tray. Press the navigational buttons to highlight the
2. Press the left or right button to highlight the Personalization tab, then press the down button to highlight Input methods. Press the OK button to select. Edit settings as desired.
Auto-complete suggestions
Press the Pound (#) key to cycle through character entry type until Predictive is selected. When typing a word, suggestions will appear below the typed text. Press the right button to highlight the desired word, then press the OK button.
Access speech-to-text, numbers & symbols
Select the desired option:
• NUMBERS: Press and hold the desired number button.
• SPEECH-TO-TEXT: Press
and hold the OK button.
• SYMBOLS: Press the Star (*) button, then press the associated number button to select the desired emoji. Press the right or left menu buttons to access additional symbols.

Press the # Key to change the input method. You can switch between regular text (abc), upper case (ABC), numbers (123), title case (ABC), or predictive text (T9)

In regular text entry mode, press a key one, two, or three times to enter a letter. For example, to enter a G, press 4 once. To enter an I, press 4 three times

Press 0 to enter a space

Press the Back Key to delete text

To enter symbols, press *

Scroll to the symbol you wish to use and then press OK

Press the Right Soft Key under Next to view additional symbols

Press the Back Key to return the message

In T9 mode, you only need to press a key once for each letter. The most likely word will be highlighted in purple. Press OK to select this word

To use a different suggestion, scroll to the word and then press OK
