Q: How do I activate my Voicemail service?

Turn on voicemail access & set or change PIN In the Account tab, under Phone settings, tap Voicemail. Turn on Call to listen. Enter your PIN and tap Save.

It just says "Can't activate visual voicemail" followed by "You can still call to check voicemail" and gives me the option to Try again or Call Voicemail. Calling voicemail works fine, but fuck that. I tried "Try again" but that doesn't do shit. Any thoughts? Pixel2XL

1. To set up your visual voicemail, from the home screen select the

Phone app.

2. Select the Voicemail tab, then select Set Up Now.

Note: Alternatively, you can set up voicemail by selecting the Phone app then pressing and holding the 1 key. If prompted, enter your voicemail password then follow the prompts to set up your voicemail. You will not be able to set up your voicemail when using Wi-Fi calling. Existing Voicemail customer: Enter your existing voicemail password or setup your mailbox as prompted. If you are an existing customer and you have forgotten your voicemail password, you will not be able to access voicemail until you reset your voicemail password.

3. Enter a 7 to 15 digit voicemail password, then select Done.

Note: Re-enter your voicemail password, then select Done again to confirm.

4. Select Default to use the default greeting. Select Custom to record a custom greeting. When finished, select Save.

5. Your voicemail inbox will be displayed.

New voicemail and password setup

Make sure to set up your voicemail within 60 days of activation or it’ll be automatically removed from your account.

From your wireless phone, press and hold 1 or the Voicemail key.
Select your language preference.
Create a 7 to 15-digit password.
Select your preferred greeting.
Listen to the brief voicemail tutorial.

If you hang up before the tutorial completes, it will play again the next time you check voicemail.

Existing voicemail setup on new phone

Press and hold 1 or the Voicemail key.
Enter your current voicemail password, if prompted. Your current voicemail greeting and messages will transfer to your new phone.
