How to find pending follow request on instagram

This tutorial will show you how to view a list of follow requests that you’ve previously sent on Instagram.

Viewing this list can be useful for two reasons.

1. You can see which Instagram users haven’t accepted your follow requests.
2. You can “clean up” any pending requests that you’ve got lying around. For example, if you sent the request two years ago and it’s still pending, then you might want to remove it.

Let’s get started!

Step 1 – Go into the Instagram Settings menu.

Firstly, you will need to go into the Settings section on Instagram.

You can do this by going to your profile and clicking on the hamburger menu in the top-right hand corner.

After that, you will need to click on the “Settings” link at the very bottom.

Step 2 – Click on Security.

Although it might seem a little odd, you will need to click on the “Security” option in order to view your sent follow requests.

Step 3 – Select “Access Data”.

Once the “Security” page appears, you will need to scroll down and find the “Access Data” option. At the time of writing, this option could be found underneath the “Data and History” menu.

At this point, Instagram might ask you to accept cookies, etc. Typically, it will only ask you this the first time that you attempt to use the “Access Data” option.

Step 4 – Click on “Current follow requests”.

Finally, you will need to scroll down to the “Connections” section and click on “Current follow requests”.

You will need to scroll down to find the Connections section.

At this stage, Instagram will show you a list of pendingfollow requests that you have sent in the past.

In the screenshot above, you can see that two of my follow requests are still pending. In other words, these two users have ignored my requests. They have not accepted them or deleted them.

One thing that you will notice about this menu is that you cannot click on the Instagram usernames. Furthermore, their display names and profile pictures are not shown. Basically, it is just text.

As a result, you will need to manually type their usernames into your search bar in order to find their profiles.

Tip: Some usernames can be pretty difficult to remember. Take a screenshot of the usernames if you want to avoid a situation where you have to keep coming back to check for typos and misspellings.

However when we request them to follow, it is on the discretion of the user to accept your request or not. This leads you hanging there for as long as they want. You would want to see their request status or just want to know whom you have requested to follow. You may also think that they have either ignored your request or haven’t even seen it till now. However there are a few easy ways to find out the people whom you have requested to follow or view the status.

How to view Instagram Follow requests in Mobile

1. Open Instagram on phone.
2. Go to Profile and then click on Menu which is on the top right corner in three lines icon.
3. Select Settings
4. Tap “Security” and then scroll down until it says “Access Data“.
5. In the connection, you will see “view all current follow requests“. Proceed by selecting that.

How to view Instagram Follow requests on PC (Web)

1. Go to your web browser in your computer or laptop.
2. Go to com
3. Log in to your account and go to your profile.
4. Select the third option from the dropdown menu and select Settings.
5. On the left side, you will see the option of “Privacy and Security” as the 7th option. Select that.
6. Then when you scroll a little down, you will find the menu which is titled “Account Data”. Proceed and select Account Data.
7. In the top right column under Connections, you will find “Current Follow requests”. Click on the view all
8. Now you will just see the list of accounts you have requested to follow. Note that you won’t have any links to the account nor the button to cancel the request. The list will be in plain text.

Other method – Browse to the likes of your own posts

This may sound ridiculous. But you would have noticed that when you post on Instagram. And when you click on likes, you will have sorted lists of followers and following and in the following section, there will be accounts you requested to follow. So in this you definitely won’t see all the account that you requested but can some of the accounts who liked your photo.

The bottom line here is that don’t be obsessed with people who have denied or ignored your follow request. Some people do follow for follow to gain more followers, its good idea to gain followers, but its time consuming instead you can buy instagram followers to grow followers fast.
