If you just got a Samsung device, you might be wondering how to perform a screenshot. Most Samsung phones use the same method. So if you've used a Galaxy device before, you may already be familiar with the feature. If not, we will show you the easiest and most used way.

3 Methods to take a screenshot

Samsung has included three different methods that users can use to take a screenshot on their devices.. The first method, which is also the most popular, is the traditional way of pressing two hardware keys at the same time. The other two methods include Samsung's own software to make it even easier.

1.Samsung Screenshot: With Hard Keys

Capture with physical buttons

The first method is to use the physical keys located on the side of the phone. This is the traditional method that is used the most and perhaps the fastest.

Pick up your phone press the power button and the volume down button at the same time. Do not release the keys until the screen blinks whiteIt will take about a second for this to happen. This will indicate the screenshot was successful. Sometimes, depending on the model, a small menu bar will appear at the bottom of the screen. The menu will have three buttons. The first button is to edit and crop the image. The second button is to enable scrolling capture, while the third button is to share the image in social media or messaging applications.

2.Samsung Screenshot: Palm Swipe to Capture

Use the palm of your hand for the screenshot or capture

If for some reason the first method does not work due to broken buttons or some other problem, then you can perform the function using the "Palm Swipe to Capture" function, that is, using the profile of the palm of your hand. This is Samsung's solution and it doesn't require any hardware buttons.

To enable Palm Swipe, go to Settings -> Advanced features -> Motions and gestures. There will be an option called Swipe with your palm to capture. It is disabled by default. Activate the function. Now run your hand across the screen to take a screenshot from left to right for example. The phone will vibrate to indicate that it was successful. We leave you the video so you can see how it is done.

3. Screenshot - Wizard Menu

Capture via Accessibility

If you want to try something different, you can try the Assistant Menu method. This is the last resort if all the physical keys on your Samsung phone are broken and the palm method doesn't work.

To enable the Wizard Menu, go to Settings> Accessibility> Interaction and dexterity and hit Wizard Menu. A small circle will appear. Touch the circle. Several options will appear. Hit Screenshots. The screen will flash white, indicating that a screenshot has been taken.

These are some of the ways you can do them. It is very well done part of Samsung to include some functions via software in cases where the physical buttons are broken. Do you know another method? Leave it in the comments and we will take it into account.
