Your Access Number is used to identify you in a branch or on the phone. You can view your Access Number in either of our digital banking channels from the Profile & Settings section. Your Access Number is a unique member identifier assigned when you join Navy Federal. It’s used to identify you in a branch or by phone. Your Username is used to sign into digital banking, using either online or mobile. Your Username must be 6 to 32 characters in length and must contain at least one letter and one number. Using one or more of the following special characters is suggested: # $ % ' ^ , ( ) * + . : | ? @ / ] [ _ ` { } ! ; - ~ The following may not be part of your username: your access number, account number, first or last name, any part of your email address, last 4 of your social security number, your date of birth, any inappropriate words or phrases, any accent characters or blank spaces.
