Clean sheets. Nice decor/furnishings. Comfy bed. Great downtown/central location. Friendly staff. Cons:The A/C thermostat was a little confusing with the words "Save" and "Set" both being used for two different things. Tub had a small chunk out of it (1-2 inch oval shape gash) where someone must have wacked it with a hammer or something, so cosmetically it took away from the otherwise updated look of the room. Pros:Excellent service and close to everything downtown Pros:The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly! Our room was cleaned every day and we were given plenty of towels. The location of the hotel is perfect if you are planning on taking advantage of all downtown has to offer. We were not traveling with children but it would be the perfect location to stay with kids. The hotel had a pool, fitness center and steps away from the aquarium, discovery center, rock climbing, and river. We plan to come back to visit Chattanooga and stay at the Hilton. Extra bonus- parking was included! We parked our car at check in and never used it until we left. Cons:The AC unit was loud and they did not have a safe in the room. Pros:Pool was nice and warm for the kids, the location was awesome- right next to the museum and a very short wall to the aquarium. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was nice ($10 per adult, kids 6 and under free). We used roomservice one night for dinner because our infant was too tired to go out. Very convenient and very good. The staff was always SO helpful Cons:Parking was $8 per day, and the overflow lot was across the street in a parking garage. The first room we checked in to was nice, but someone had used the restroom and CLOGGED THE TOILET (gross!!!!) before we even got in there. The front desk was going to send someone to clean it right away, but 30 mns later we gave up waiting and asked for another room. Overall the room was 'clean-ish'. But when I check into a hotel, I really expect it to be VERY CLEAN. Pros:The sink worked Cons:Whirlpool nasty / walkin shower did not work / I took my wife on a date once a month we do something different, suite w/ balcony hotel was very disappointing , an pricee, Marriott next time . Cleaning lady should have know shower was broke / filled the whirlpool up cut it on black dirt came out of jets, 311 Chestnut Street, Chattanooga, TN 37402
