Bloomsbury has just announced that for the first time the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows audiobook, read by Stephen Fry, will be released at the same time as the book (July 21st). Here are some other interesting (random) facts about this audiobook:

-Listening time for the DH audio edition is 24 hours and 1 minute
-The audio editions of the Harry Potter books have now sold over a million copies.
-Stephen Fry has spent a total of 38 days in the studio recording all seven Harry Potter books
-Stephen Fry has voices for over 170 characters from the books
-In the same time as it takes to listen to all seven audiobooks you could go to the moon, and still have nearly a day left over to look around, or listen to a Harry Potter book, once you got there.
-In the same time as it takes to listen to the Deathly Hallows audiobook, you could:

I love Stephen Fry, but I've always preferred Jim Dale's version. I prefer his voice, don't know why. And by football, do they mean soccer or American football?

The audio book of author JK Rowling's newest Harry Potter release, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, will go on sale on 21 July, simultaneously with the book.

The US edition will feature the voice of Jim Dale, while the British version will be narrated by Stephen Fry.

Random House Audio Publishing Group's children's imprint, The Listening Library, has revealed that the audio version of the 784-page book will retail at USD79.95 and span 21 hours of listening time. The UK version is priced at GBP75.00.

According to The Associated Press the audio book will only be available on CD or cassette, with no e-book version expected.
