Gamestop xbox series x halo infinite limited edition bundle

The limited edition Halo Infinite Xbox Series X console and Elite Series 2 controller have been impossible to get since their original announcment. Fortunately for Pro Members at GameStop, they will have a couple chances this week to nab these exclusive Halo Infinite items.

During Halo Infinite's appearance at Gamescom 2021, 343 Industries and Xbox revealed a specialty line of products to celebrate Halo's 20th Anniversary. Some of the announced items include a beautiful Halo Infinite Xbox Series X console that is mostly black and gray with gold highlights and a speckled top, and a Master Chief-themed Xbox Elite Series 2 controller based off the legendary Spartan's armor. Unfortunately, as has been the case with most console acquisitions in the past year, these items sold out almost immediately and have yet to see a major restock anywhere. Desperate fans can find these items through other online retailers but for inordinate prices, in some cases being thousands of dollars.

GameStop will be restocking the Halo Infinite Xbox Series X and Elite 2 controller at varying times this week. Pro Members at Gamestop have begun receiving notices about the restock happening throughout the week, as these they will have early access to these items. The first of these restocks is on Tuesday, October 12 at 10:00 am CST, where fans will have an attempt at snagging the coveted Halo Infinite Xbox Series X console. Then on Wednesday, October 13, at 10:00 am CST, the limited-edition Halo Infinite Xbox Elite Series 2 controller will go on sale. Presumably these items will be listed at the prices that they were originally retailed for, the console being $549 and the controller being $199.

The final restock known as the "Halo Super Fan Bundle" will be happening on Thursday, October 14, at 10:00am CST. In this bundle, fans will get both the limited edition Halo Infinite Xbox Series X console and Elite Series 2 controller, as well as the Kaira Pro Halo Wireless Headset, themed similarly to the controller. With the headset being listed individually at $169, tentative buyers should expect to pay quite handsomely for this bundle, probably pretty close to the $1,000 mark.

These restocks are similar to other Pro Member-exclusive restocks GameStop has done previously for the PS5 and Xbox Series X, though not quite as annoying as those ones. With those restocks, GameStop typically bundles the console with games, giftcards, and other accessories, in turn making buyers pay more than they would for just the console itself. This type of practice is evident in the Halo Super Fan Bundle, where rather than just listing the items again separately, if buyers miss out on Tuesday and Wednesday, they will have to go all in with the bundle on Thursday. Hopefully though, this is an opportunity many people can take advantage of.

Halo Infinite releases on December 8 for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
