A certain flight attendant is not the friendliest. Does not made me feel welcome. I told her that the bathroom toilet paper and she gave me the meanest stare. It wasn’t the best experience and I was on premium select. That flight attendant made an impact on my whole experience. Her demeanor, attitude and facial expressions were not welcoming, even when you say thank you and please. When I got to Amsterdam, I had to wait for my luggage for almost 45 min. Very stressful. I always had the best experience with delta but not this time. The service was noticeably devastatingly poor.

Flight attendants were friendly and helpful. Minor delay with auxillary unit prior to departure but we were kept informed of progress and once fixed quickly on our way. Excellent trip.

Cons: "They were out of vegetarian meal options. Really poor for a six hour flight. Also, the family behind us was atrocious, but that’s not Delta’s fault."

It was delayed in 30 min increments, which made it hard to do anything else around the airport since I was constantly in a state of "about to board." A frustrating experience. No posts of extra snacks while waiting, or compensation or explanation of what caused the delay."

Pros: "Delta did a great job - you absolutely can not complain about the food/drink service as they are seemingly constantly walking through the aisles to offer more food and drinks. The coffee is kind of lousy, but I'm sure it is a tremendous challenge to serve good coffee on an airplane."

Cons: "My entertainment system was essentially broken - one of the crew members was very helpful in helping me try to fix it and then giving a voucher for what I thought was a reasonable amount."

Cons: "Everything that could have gone wrong with my flights, went wrong. On my way from LA to Raleigh (through Atlanta), I was affected by the weather conditions at Atlanta. I understand that the weather is beyond Delta's scope of control, but customer service is not. I had to wait in line at LAX for 8 hours to even get information on what had happened, and what solutions were available. The customer service call center was collapsed, and at the airport counters at one point there was ONLY ONE DELTA REPRESENTATIVE serving a line of more than 100 upset customers. This IS Delta's fault, and it is unacceptable. This definitely was under Delta's control, but in order to save a few dollars in overtime for emergency staff Delta was willing to let its customers make terribly long lines, miss their flights, their connections and consequently their commitments. It is disappointing to observe how Delta believes that a few dollars saved on extra staff and emergency measures can offset the irreparable long term damage to its business due to upset customers. My way back from Raleigh to Los Angeles was also a disaster. Without any type of explanation and nothing more than an email announcing the change, the nonstop flight I bought was replaced by a 1-stop flight with connection in Atlanta. This was NOT THE PRODUCT I PURCHASED. There is a reason I paid a premium for a nonstop flight, and Delta did not hesitate in providing me with a less valuable product without any explanation or refund. Delta prioritizes its operational metrics - an obsession to fill and overbook its capacity - over its customers' experience, one again under the foolish belief that short term savings in any way offset the long term damage of disappointed and alienated customers. I will NEVER FLY DELTA AGAIN. I will do whatever I can to transmit my experience to everyone I know. At a time where major airline carriers are in the spotlight due to abusive practices (i.e. the United passenger case), I still find hope in knowing that alternatives such as Southwest still put their customers first, over the ethereal benefits that a few-dollar savings in operational expenses can provide."

Cons: "The entertainment access from my device was unusable due to unavailability of downloading the proprietary American Airlines APP. I had the GoGo In Flight app installed but that wasn’t enough. A better system should be in place."

Cons: "I was in the aisle seat and kept getting bumped into by the crew as they walked by. I leaned toward the middle seat but still got hit with the cart, people’s bums, their hips, etc. The flight landed at 4am, so I was tired and really wanted to sleep but couldn’t. Also, the AC was not working during the flight. We were all melting until we started descending. Then, while waiting to get off the plane, they turned off the AC completely. Bad move."

Cons: "Since we have an AAdvantage CitiCard and are AAdvantage members, it is disconcerting to have to claim your privilege of 1 free bag and priority boarding each time. This is embarrassing at the gate especially since it looks like we are cutting the line. What good is this "privilege" if you have to assert it every time or hold a credit card in hand with your carryon and boarding pass. This should be included in our ticketing at the time of purchase and upgraded on our boarding pass if we use the damn card for the purchase. It is now not a "privilege" but an inconvenience."

Cons: "Missed my connection in London due to a computer malfunction that took over an hour to remedy. In getting to London, I was automatically rebooked, but with a flight that got me in 10 hours later than expected. I asked customer service about alternate flights, with or without connections, that might get me in earlier, but was given a quite curt, "that is not possible," and turned away. Even if that was the case, which seems unlikely given the multiple other flights arriving in Luxembourg from European airports earlier in the day, it was not particularly friendly."

The American Airlines employees were mostly inconsiderate, with the exception of two staff members. Not sure about this airline again."
