How to Find My Debit Card Number OnlineBanks do not typically make your debit card number available online or by phone. We reached out to major U.S. banks to find out about accessing a debit card number. We spoke with bank corporate customer service representatives who told us that in order to keep your account secure, they do not offer the information needed to make a purchase — your debit card number, CVV, and expiration date — online or when you call customer service. While you won’t be able to get your debit card number online or over the phone, some banks offer mobile banking options. Of the banks we contacted, representatives for Bank of America told us that you can request a copy of your debit card in its mobile app. If your bank does not offer a digital copy of your card within its mobile app, you can set up your card in a digital wallet like Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, or Google Pay to make cardless transactions — but you’ll need the card number to set this up. For more information about the ways that you can access your account information, contact your bank’s customer service department.
