Not a great idea when you’re dealing with a Tesla delivery, but nonetheless I contacted California Coast Credit Union and with the help of Jenise and Lindsey (and AJ at Tesla) we had the entire purchase funded the next morning. CCCU’s entire process, quick service, and interest rate (not much more than Tesla and an easier last-minute option) were a huge improvement over our last experience with our local credit union. Things went seamless enough with CCCU that we will be financing our recent truck purchase with them next. show more show less Product: California Coast Credit Union Car Loans Comment 0 0 California Coast Credit Union Jorge Report Abuse 5 Star Rating Verified CustomerLow rate. Everything with the loan was fine. The problems came when I moved and needed to register my car in another State. I did my part to send the lien holder letter to CCCU. I called and verified they received that and said they sent the Info to the DMV. Waiting for my after waiting 2 months for my title I called CCCU again. The woman who helped me was completely incompetent and informed me that they do not deal with car titles. I decided to just be done with it and pay off my car so I could get the actual title. I then call the DMV and they state that they sent my title to CCCU several months before. I called CCCU AGAIN and confirmed that, yes they have my title. They stated they would mail it to me the next day. One month later I still do not have my title. I call again and they inform me that the will mail my title the next day. This entire process has taken 1 year. And now my temporary registration is expiring in the state I now live. I told CCCU that this is 100% their responsibility and that I have done my part completely. I asked that they would reimburse the fee I am now going to have to pay. They will not cover this fee. This is the last time I will ever use this bank full of incompetent people who can’t do their job. show more show less Product: California Coast Credit Union Car Loans Comment 0 0 California Coast Credit Union Bruce Scharf Report Abuse 1 Star Rating This is a bush League organization. I'm going to be closing my account very soon. show more show less Product: California Coast Credit Union Checking Comment 0 0 California Coast Credit Union gregchick0 Report Abuse 1 Star Rating Could not access my money online or on phone, to transfer or use online to pay a contractor I owed while I was out of town. I literally had to drive 500 miles round trip to get access to my money because it was over a max amount. I had over $40,000 in the credit union account, I had to set up a transfer to Wells Fargo, that took a week. Then I could use Wells Fargo to transfer to the person I owed money to. I was late to pay them, it took hours on line to try to do in the first place. The absolute rules that restrict access to my money are of no use to me. I am going to go to a credit union that has reciprocity with Cal coast, transfer all my money from Cal Coast, to a credit union where I am (covid hide out), then have them issue me a cashiers check to the person I need to pay, then drive to a Union bank branch and deposit the amount into his account with the cashiers check. This is why I am closing my CCCU account Monday. I can and have identified myself with the CCCU to an excessive point, yet still they refuse to allow me access to my money that has been in the account for months. I can not verify my account and my story here using my account #, but will try to prove I am not a fraud with my name.
