Another plus: Florida's all-inclusive resorts have upped their game in recent years to become some of the best hotels in the Sunshine State, from luxury destinations to fun family hotels.

While many of Florida's best resorts don't have all-inclusive rates, some offer special savings packages that make them "almost all inclusive" and therefore worthy of consideration.

It doesn't get much more exclusive than Little Palm Island Resort & Spa. Situated on a secluded barrier island in the Florida Keys (it's only reachable by seaplane or boat), this luxurious spot is popular with high-flyers like presidents and A-list celebs.

The hotel has found the key to relaxation: removing technology (including phones and TVs) from your room. Don't worry! The view is so gorgeous, you won't require any other form of entertainment. One other thing missing from the resort is the pitter patter of little feet on the grounds - kids under 18 aren't invited.

Little Palm Island features five acres of pristine, white sandy beach; 30 elegant, thatched-roof bungalow suites; a sumptuous spa; and a palm-lined oceanfront pool. It's easy to imagine you're somewhere more exotic, like Mauritius or the Seychelles.

You'll be treated like royalty while on-site, something you should expect, considering the hefty price. Your fee includes water sports, nonalcoholic drinks from the mini bar, and yacht transfers.

The resort offers one all-inclusive deal: The "Culinary Paradise Package" will cover your meals but requires a stay of at least two nights. A bonus: it includes a $100 spa credit per person per night, so you can have your budget woes massaged away.

Plus, they boast an amazing kids' club to keep the little ones occupied while you indulge in a spa treatment or lounge by the adults-only pool.

At night, the resort becomes an entertainment center loved by kids and adults alike. From live shows featuring music and dancers to comedy acts and musicals, you won't have a chance to be bored.

Add the Zen Garden Spa, featuring a Himalayan salt room, and you'll wish you could stay forever.

Bungalows are 900 square feet and boast private verandas complete with outdoor soaking tubs, as well as an outdoor patio. All meals and snacks are included in the price, and guests have five restaurants to choose from, as well as a menu that's available poolside.

Water sports are also included, so hop on a paddleboard to spot dolphins, jump in for a snorkel adventure, or kayak among the manatees.

4. LEGOLAND Hotels, Orlando

The Disney Dining Plan is currently on hold due to health and safety concerns but should resume in the near future. It includes two to three meals a day, depending on the package you choose.

Want a break from the kids? They'll be happy to spend a few hours at the kids' club, having their faces painted, making crafts, or embarking on a resort-wide treasure hunt lead by pirates.

While this resort doesn't offer an all-inclusive option, booking their "Resort Extra Credit Package" gets you pretty darn close. Included is a room with a private balcony, a meal at one of the many on-site restaurants, a drink at the beachside lounge, a set of beach chairs and umbrella, one large pizza every day, free kids' activities, and $25 in "beach bucks" for each day of your stay.

9. The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island

Guests can golf; splash in the pool; put their kids in the epic, pirate-inspired children's programs; or challenge each other to tennis before taking a load off in their plush guest room or suite. Be sure to check out the offers available during your time of travel, as they are apt to change. Don't worry, there are a slew of offers available throughout the year.

The Beach Road Trip Package includes savings of up to 20 percent on deluxe beach accommodations, a $100 daily resort credit, and complimentary valet parking. A two-night-stay minimum is required for this deal.

The Bed & Breakfast package includes your room, daily breakfast for two, and free valet parking, while the Weekday Breakaway package (available Sunday through Thursday) includes a $100 daily resort credit with your room.

A family- and pet-friendly hotel, this is not the place to come if you're looking for romance. Fun and thrills, though, are easy to come by, especially for kids. There's a three-story-tall waterslide, five heated pools, a sandy beach, poolside (or in-pool) movie nights, and access to a boatload of water sports (for an additional fee).

As for dining, you'll have to pay as you go, but there are multiple restaurants, grab-and-go delis, and lounges to choose from, especially if you add the three restaurants available at neighboring sister hotel, the RumFish Beach Resort.

The daily amenity fee includes use of a beach cabana, as many rides as your backside can handle down the inflatable slide, unlimited rides on the inflatable Surf WipeOut (at the neighboring RumFish Beach Resort), guided beach walks, and nightly campfire s'mores.

11. RumFish Beach Resort by TradeWinds, St. Pete Beach

The sister hotel to Island Grand, RumFish Beach Resort (which is basically next door) is similar in many ways. Here, too, you'll find nightly campfires, comfy beach cabanas, and fab restaurants to choose from.

This five-acre compound also boasts a touch tank, beachfront pool, and an immense 33,500-gallon aquarium, where guests can "swim with the fishes." Rooms have been newly revamped, meaning they're cleaner and more modern with lovely views. Book a gulf front suite to enjoy the best scenery from your own balcony.

As is the case with guests of Island Grand, you're more than welcome to dine and play at either resort, but this, too, lacks a fully all-inclusive package. Book a Family Adventure, Go Get Out There, or Dolphin Tale package for discounted room rates, lunch for two, a floating cabana rental, included amenity fee, and tickets to Clearwater Marine Aquarium, depending on which package you choose.

12. Holiday Inn & Suites Daytona Beach on the Ocean

While they don't offer an all-inclusive option, the Holiday Inn & Suites Daytona on the Ocean does offer a Park, Stay, and Eat package. It includes parking and breakfast for up to two adults per day. Each additional guest will be charged a fee for breakfast. That said, kids under 18 stay and eat free when sharing a room with their parents.

This hotel is all about the location. Situated mere feet from Daytona's glorious white sandy beaches, there are plenty of ways to keep entertained. Plus, everyone will love the oceanfront pool.

13. Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina, Fort Myers

There's plenty of fun to be had at Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina in Fort Myers. As the name implies, this pretty property is set on the beach, where visitors can jump in the waves, build a sandcastle, or rent a paddleboat to ride through the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

Looking to unwind? Head to the spa for a relaxing massage or facial, or hang by the pool for some watery fun.

While you won't find an all-inclusive package, every room booking includes daily breakfast for two, two bottles of water, a beach lounge chair, beach umbrella, and a Pink Shell Resort beach bag. Additional breakfasts can be purchased.
